SG Anywhere connects to the dry contact terminals found on virtually every gate controller, barrier motor or garage door opener. If your system has a dry contact input, SG Anywhere works with it — without touching your existing wiring.
Compatible with sliding gates, swing gates, barriers, garage doors and any motorised access system with a dry contact.

Because you're controlling the gate remotely, knowing its actual state is essential. SG Anywhere offers two ways to monitor the position of your gate or door.
Timing-Based Status
SG Anywhere tracks how long the motors have been running and estimates whether the gate is open, closed or mid-travel. Zero extra hardware — just connect to the motor command circuit.
Real Position Sensor
Connect an optional position sensor for absolute, real-time gate position feedback. Ideal when timing alone isn't reliable — heavy gates, variable speeds or precision requirements.
Monitor Your
Safety Cells.
SG Anywhere can monitor your IR safety cells (photocells) in real time. If a person, vehicle, plant or even tall grass is blocking the closing path, you'll see it on your phone before sending the close command.

Beyond Open &
Close.
SG Anywhere lets you add advanced commands on top of the basic open/close — all delivered via the dry contact interface of your existing controller.
Leave Open
Send a second command while the gate is opening to cancel the automatic closing cycle and hold the gate open. Ideal for loading, moving in or supervising extended access periods.
Pedestrian Mode
Trigger a short partial opening for foot traffic only. SG Anywhere sends a timed stop command during travel to limit the gate's swing, then restarts the closing cycle automatically after a configurable delay.

Every command sent to the gate is logged with a timestamp and the user account that triggered it. Review who opened, who left it open, and when — directly from the app.
